Khaki
Military and hunting influences coalesce in this lightweight insulated cargo coat from 80s/90s menswear brand Dézert. An array of four pockets at the front nods to military field jackets, with varying zippered/flap entries and decorative piped edges for an elevated atmosphere. The sleeves are cut with two pleats at the elbow, drawing inspiration from M51 fishtail parkas and creating a roomier balloon silhouette. The entire interior is clean finished, with all seam allowances hidden so that the piece can be worn reversed to showcase the quiltstitched lining and contrast olive crinkle nylon reinforcement at the cuff. Buttoned webbing at the collar serves to attach a hood while leaning into the 'liner' design DNA.
Finished with button front closure, waist drawcord, single interior chest pocket, and button cuffs.
Made in Japan
6/10 Condition, with a fair amount of wear throughout. Some buttons are cracked and need to be replaced, including one at center front, one at flap pocket closure, and one at sleeve cuff. Several bleach stains and small tears throughout but no immediately noticeable damages. Buttonholes stitched into webbing that secures the hood has frayed, and though functional, could be replaced.
