The Aircrew Cold Weather Coat Liner was made to be used in the Aircrew Field Jacket from Nomex material to be no-drip no melt in the event of a fire.  The liner provides great insulation when needed and can be used as a stand-alone due to the elastic wrist cuffs and buttonholes.  We find they also work in the standard M65 and make a great insulation or fashion jacket.
